People & Skills Department Signage

Within the National Oceanography Centre, the People & Skills department is a vital source of information and assist in all manner of processes. It is vital that their services are easily recognisable and accessible to all. The department set up four different services to help internal customers and approached us to visually communicate this change. We worked with the team to differentiate the services, highlighting the key aspects of each one with the emphasis always being on people. The icons are people focused, encapsulating each service within, each with a subtle colour difference that is carried throughout the surrounding design of each one. The work is ongoing with the team with literature, signage and online portals using the designs and building upon the design language established.
