The National Oceanography Centre went through a significant transition becoming an independent charitable organisation. The change brought with it a new set of strategic priorities for the new organisation as well as huge impacts on the day-to-day workings in every area of the business.
I designed two documents to work together and reflect each other though their use of colour and structure. The strategy document is all about our ambitions for the future, setting out a plan for the next five years of the organisation, therefore the design is very fluid and expressive to reflect this.
The second document was to communicate the internal process changes for employees for day one and beyond. The design reflects the practical information though an angular, structural use of colour.
