Marine Autonomy & Technology Showcase 2020

Each November the National Oceanography Centre hosts the Marine Autonomy & Technology Showcase (MATS). The three day event houses exhibits from the NOC and partners, presentations from leading industry, academia and government figures, as well as a broad range of panel discussions and networking opportunities. The 2020 branding builds upon the recognisable yellow and black designs of previous years but with motion at its heart. Designed to be a moving wallpaper, the blueprint inspired design is compiled before your eyes to reveal the date and lead you into the virtual conferences and videos that were produced for the event. The design was used extensively across literature, promotional material, social media as well as video and presentations. When the event was switched to virtual due to COVID-19 the design was used throughout the online portal and downloadable promotional material.
