About Me
Graphic Designer who has worked in creative agencies in London and Portsmouth, as well as displaying work in galleries and completing freelance projects. My work varies from expressive conceptual pieces to precise typographic layouts. Regardless of the outcome my work is always inspired by research led practice, getting to the root of a brief and fully engaging with the subject matter to produce the best result possible.
I am a focussed, diligent individual who upholds an extremely high standard of execution in all my work. I equally relish the opportunity to work autonomously and in collaborative environments with fellow designers.

Work Experience
Conran Design Group Graphic Design Intern
Extended my knowledge of branding and concept development working on two commercial projects from initial conception through presentation phases. Meeting with clients and participating in creative workshops.
Independently tasked with designing a timeline infographic which would fit within the brand guidelines. Using my own research and working with the internal team to ensure the outcome met the required standards
Honey Creative Graphic Design Intern
Improving my commercial awareness through client pitches, proposals and presentations. I worked on several projects, researching the client and product before designing branding concepts and initial ideas to presentation standard. Developing these further into three distinct pitches through the use of photo mock-ups, moodboards and brand positioning diagrams.
I was also able to work on a number of independent projects reporting directly to the Design Director. Responsible for developing artwork, illustrations and layouts for a charity client which could communicate across language barriers whilst remaining within strict brand guidelines.
Working alongside the marketing department on short notice to design a viral marketing campaign based on current affairs.
Innovate Creative Junior Graphic Designer
Solely responsible for the concept, design and artworking of all web banners and social media promotional campaigns, as well as designing website concepts and layouts alongside the Design Director.
Freelance Graphic Designer
Working independently with clients, setting up meetings to discuss the design direction, liaising via email to produce the perfect outcome for their specific desires. Ensuring professional conduct at all time.
Oiiocare Graphic Designer
Developed a flexible design concept for their new product catalogue to sell key products as well as communicate a significant company re-brand. I worked independently on the design concepts and execution, reporting to their in-house Graphic Designer and Marketing Manager.
Produced a two hundred page catalogue, organising their vast array of products into categories and sub-categories, designing a collection of icons and a colour coded system throughout to ensure the design was easily accessible to a wide audience.
World Duty Free Customer Service Leader, Operational Support & Administration Assistant
Considerably improved my leadership and people management skills, progressing from Administration to train for the role of Customer Service Leader. Responsibilities included the day to day management of a large team within a busy, unpredictable sales environment.
Progressed to Operational Support, becoming solely responsible for vital business tasks, consistently demonstrating excellent time management and organisational skills, managing my own time and others, working independently to achieve business objectives.
University Of Portsmouth BA(Hons) Graphic Design
First Class Honours 4.14 GPA
Throughout my degree I explored a wide variety of subject matters and creative processes, pushing myself to achieve consistently high standards in print production, bookbinding, screen printing, letterpress and foiling to create increasingly exciting outcomes. The course also allowed me to thrive analytically, honing my research practice and essay writing skills as well as presentation preparation and delivery.
Completed a training course in the Adobe Creative Suite, using the core programmes throughout my degree and gaining my Adobe Certified Associate qualifications in Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator.
Successfully lead a team in our bid for funding to show our work at D&AD New Blood 2018. I put together a small team, designed a presentation and lead our pitch to the university panel. To support the bid I also organised the running of a larger fundraising team which ran events and sales to further our funding efforts.
Achieved the standard required to gain Membership of the International Society of Typographic Designers (ISTD). I was commended by the University Of Portsmouth with an Art and Design Student Achievement Award - High Commendation and the Art Collection Award.
